Advisors

Major Advisors

Each academic department in the College of Arts & Sciences assigns a head advisor and other faculty advisors to meet the needs of students. For economics majors, the Head Advisor is Professor Neil Alper. Other faculty advisors are:

**After the initial intake advising with the Transfer Advisor, transfer students are advised in the same fashion as all other majors, by year of graduation.

College Advisor

Every Arts & Sciences student also has an advisor in the CEA/Dean's Office. These advisors are available by appointment except during busy periods (e.g., orientation, registration, etc.) when advising is provided on a walk-in basis. Each advisor also has a limited number of regularly scheduled walk-in hours during non-peak periods. In addition, advisors do their best to accommodate students on a walk-in basis in all urgent situations. To make an appointment to see your College advisor, call x3980 or stop by 1 Meserve Hall. Cooperative Education Advisor
