Professor Dana is Professor of Economics and Strategy at Northeastern University. He is also a visiting scholar in the Strategy Unit at Harvard Business School.


His research is in the areas of industrial organization, competitive strategy, and operations management, with a specialization in pricing under uncertainty, corporate strategies for managing demand uncertainty, and revenue management.


Prior to joining the faculty at Northeastern, Professor Dana was Associate Professor with tenure in the Management and Strategy department at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. Before that he was Assistant Professor of Economics at Dartmouth College.


Professor Dana has a BA in Economics from Yale University and a Ph.D. in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
