Activities

The department runs an active seminar series, including both presentations by visiting faculty, researchers, and policy analysts, and workshops involving current faculty and graduate students. Economic Policy Forums are held throughout the year, bringing in prominent guest speakers to discuss contemporary economic policy. In addition, special events are often held. These range from panel discussions on issues of current interest to large events involving prominent guest speakers. A number of social activities are held each year as well, giving students and faculty the opportunity to interact with members of the department outside of the classroom.
